President's Letter![]() I am honored to serve as your Charlotte Estate Planning Council President for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. Throughout my years (actually, more than a decade!), as a member of the Council, I have always been impressed by the quality of programming provided and the respect and collegiality of our members - to each other and our community. I look forward to leading our Board and membership and returning to in person meetings, to learn from top professionals in their field of expertise and gather again to welcome those members who have joined the Council in the past 2 years. I firmly believe our members are the biggest strength and best asset of our Council and the Board looks forward to feedback from our members as we strive to provide programs and presentations on timely issues. Please reach out to me or any member of the Board with suggestions for speakers or topics so that we can be responsive to our membership. We encourage our members to participate in meetings and socials sponsored by our Council, as well as taking advantage of the regular presentations offered by the National Estate Planning Council (NAEPC), which feature top national speakers on a variety of topics. Thank you also to our Annual Sponsors who continue to support our Council and offer an opportunity to keep costs down for our members. We appreciate our wonderful sponsors and hope when you’re in need of a product or service, you’ll consider reaching out to one of them. Finally, in furtherance of the Council’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, we encourage our members to identify diverse professionals in our community who may be interested in joining the council and invite them to a meeting or social event. In accordance with this initiative, we will be introducing our Young Professionals group this year. More information to come on this exciting opportunity, and we hope you will participate by attending, mentoring, and/or helping us find young professionals who qualify to build this program to be the best it can be. Thank you again for allowing me to serve as this year’s President and I look forward to seeing you at the next CEPC program. Sincerely, Andrea C.
