Behavioral finance is still in its infancy stage . But the way behavioral finance applies to the even more challenging distr ibution phase of life has almost been unexplored. However, there are signif icant lessons to be learned from the way people make decisions in life that can be applied to create a more confident and successful client by simplif ying their retirement income decisions. Before joining Carson, Jamie was an associate professor of taxation at The American College of Financial Services in the Retirement Income program, an d served as the director of the New York Life Center for Retirement Income. Jamie received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science at Davidso n College in North Carolina, where he was captain of the Division I Men’s V arsity Swim Team. He attended Villanova School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree and graduated with honors. He received his Master of Bu siness Administration degree from Villanova University Business School.
