Alyssa Wilen, known as Chef Alyssa, has made a significant mark in the culinary world by becoming the opening Executive Chef at Fern, Flavors from the Garden, where she built strong connections with local farmers to curate a seasonally changing menu. CBS Charlotte has recognized her as one of Charlotte's Top 5 Chefs, and she had the honor of cooking at the prestigious James Beard House in New York City. Her cooking school, Chef Alyssa's Kitchen, was also awarded Charlotte Magazine's Best Cooking Class for two consecutive years.
